First allow me to say that I missed you guys,

Second, allow me to congratulate all those who got their 1st PER/AOR, RBVO, 2nd AOR, Payment charged or any other type of good news (even a file number), and welcome to all the new family members.

Third, a big thank you for the admins for a job well done, and sorry as I have to go offline for couple more weeks.

Wowwwww..... I opened the track sheet and it is full of PINK!!!! has it been raining "In Process" or what? but is it for real?
Well I like to believe it is, until proven otherwise. This thing should be cleared tomorrow or the day after that... if the status remains the same, then it is Definitely for real.

Meanwhile, let us enjoy this nice update. If it turnes out to be a glitch in the system, then nothing is lost.

ho ho ho, i guess both of us were temporarily offline...I am surprised and happy as well to see so many pinks! kudos to NKKD and RKC for doing such great job updating the spreadsheet. + plus to you mates! ;D

and I second my Big "brother" O in welcoming our new family members ;D

Alain, If choices for ice cream factory becomes limited, I suggest you to look for meat processing factories as well to put your coat to best use. You are so funny. You will get the visa. I would love to improve my English. Can you suggest some tips on that front?

Hi NKKD Hortons, I did not find a meat processing factory but I did find an ice plant! But really, the best use for this coat is for when I go rolling like a ball in the snow in Toronto. This coat is so thick. I could not wear this anywhere in my country without eating shaved ice at the same time. ;D

I am not sure I am qualified to dish out advice on how to improve anybody's English proficiency. The only thing I know will surely work: practice, practice, practice. Talk and write in English whenever wherever you can. I, for example, have become an English speaker even in my dreams! When somebody talks back in the vernacular, I run the English subtitles in my head! Creepy! hahaha

On a serious note, I work as a management consultant for a US business & technology consulting firm. Most of my clients are in the North American IOT, particularly in the Telco and Retail sectors. Bell Canada was a client once. And so was Walmart. I speak English with native English speakers day in and day out. Every interaction is an opportunity to hone my skills and deepen my understanding of the language. I find blogging to be useful in instilling a bit of discipline in my writing. So, I do write on just about any subject matter whenever I can.

Wait a minute. You write well in English! So we should be asking you for advice instead.

They may or may not ask for tax returns. I read a couple of posts where applicants were requested to submit tax returns.

Am not sure but I don't think so, the UCI belongs to the main applicant I would say (his NOC, his experience and his language skills ...) but again I am not sure so please wait for other forum members to assist us on this one.

regarding your query dear NKKD, in my opinion, if you have UCI# you should include this in the generic application form. that's what I did with our application. Hoped this helped.

PER not received yet but E-CAS status shows "IN PROCESS"

I am around the same timelines as you and haven't received PER yet.
Can you please advise how can I check my status on the E-CAS without receiving the PER. I do not know my UCI or E numbers.

I'm just worried about my application, it was sent by CIO last Sept 6 through regular mail back to me and until now i am still waiting for the post man..

I'd like to re apply again and i dont know when i will receive my documents..

Do i need to check in post office or wait for the notice coming from them???

It should work after you receive your PER letter . In between you can keep checking.Good Luck!!

I have not received a PER yet and hoping to soon ;D

Last week was raining ' In process' and I am hoping this week its blowing 'PER's..

Hey dreams didnt get you in your another statement.....
You got your PER/AOR?? isnt that letter mentioned about your Positive eligibility???
If you have paid thru CC then can you check whether is it charged??... Because as per the normal process you must have rec AOR/PER before RBVO/2nd AOR/In Process status.....

hi everyone,,

do we have to use a pen after printing out the imm0008 generic to fill up any n/a answers in such as fax no. and 2nd citizenship,,,,
i didn't do that coz i thought validating my form and getting the bar codes means it is correct, complete and nothing missing...

plus i think if they want to see n/a they would made these field writable (able o type letters on it)...

what do u see, am afraid to my file to be considered incomplete....
