Fadoo, fadoo said:Hi wespoint. Could you please help me in two issues in the new document checklist of FSW.
1- I did my masters but havent recieved the degree as to get the degree i have to submit GMAT score. I cant do it at this time. However , i have the original transcript . will it suffice?
2- how can one give proof of number of years studied? as asked in the new checklist? isnt the degree and transcripts enough proof? isnt it obvious that if you have your masters you would have completed your bachelors and all previous degrees?
3- Checklist asks for fathers birth certificate to prove his relationship to his sister in canada. However , In my country (Pakistan) it is not easy/ possible as my father was born in 1947/48. Can i submit some other document or is there an alternative?
Please reply so that i can take care of these issues. I will be grateful.
warm regards
1) From my reading of the rules, I believe you will only get maximum points for a complete degree (i.e. when your diploma has been issued). However, you will get points for the amount of years of education you have completed.
2) The best proof of education is sealed university transcripts. Anything else does not hold the same weight or legitimacy. If you are sending your transcripts, there is no need for further evidence of education.
3) I assume your aunt is in Canada. If you are unable to prove your relationship to your Aunt, the best option is to write a detailed note in your application indicating why it is difficult to get a birth certificate for your father. Instead you can try and use notarized copies of other documents e.g. Pakistani ID cards or Passports etc to prove the relationship between your aunt and father. You would probably have to find a document for both your aunt and father, which clearly states the names of your grandparents.
Hope that helps.
Good Luck!
