Not mandatory!! I'm sure about that!

Dear friends.. someone was saying on another forum that the passport copy that we send along with the applications should be attested or notarized. Is it true? I think it is not mandatory rite! ???

Dear Mel,

Neither did we? It's not required as per the current doc checklist!! This checklist is quite different from the VO specific checklist as of last year. Hence there seems to be a confusion every now and then.

U know I did not send my secondary certificate for me and for wife u know they are not mentioned in the checklist can anybody tell me it's ok or not also Im asking operators to get their opinion.

OK THE NUMBER I FOUND WRITTEN ABOVE MY OLD GENERIC APPLICATION WAS XE00001XXXX so starting with XE NOT E.

ONE IS THE TYPE OF DEPENDANT OF MY WIFE IN GENERIC IMM 0008. WHAT SHOULD I PUT FOR MY WIFE TYPE A OR TYPE B OR TYPE C? this types refer to your dependent child and not to your wife. please see category pasted below as well as the linkPLEASE ADVISE. REGARDS.

common-law relationship (if it happened before the age of 22).


Type C The child is 22 years of age or older, has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent

I Wrote assets of my property value only and in settlement funds my bank balance only, which is double than the assets.Will it be ok or make problem?I submitted proof of both documents too.My settlement funds which i mentioned is more than required by the CIC.

I just got poorer by 1074 USD this morning. CIC moved up to July 25th and my doubts of birth certificate are cast out. I am really really happy to share this with you all and I am hoping for the same for all of you out there waiting for it.

In my opinion, I think you made a mistake there Fast Track. Your assets must include your settlement funds + whatever else you have (like jewellery or house etc). So your assets cannot be less than your settlement fund! How this can be tackled, I have no clue. Our seniors here might be able to sort that out for you.

I'm not sure I understood your second query too well. However let me attempt to answer. By nickname, do you actually mean "maiden name"? What did you mention in the main name section? Your current name or maiden name?

Dear i wrote my nick name different then given names but my ost marriege name i didnt mention.

My another name option i wrote family name;"NA" and given name --D
My pre marriege name -- E F G
I forget to mention E F G in another name option.
however i Put affidavit of my name change from E F G to A B C Because my credentials on my pre marriage name (E F G )
