I see DM on my E-CAS ....Also, I see the message "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

So, hopefully this is a good sign....only concern is that mailing address has still not changed....so that worries me a little bit....Any idea how long it is taking for passports to come by India post?

Hi babbu bhai,
I guess it depends on case to case and my case was a little different because I had medical received line on 3rd july but then I didnot submit my passports till 2nd august to NDVO....I have a theory on how the DM is issued and not sure if it is true but here it is...
I believe that the VO puts the BFD date (most of the times 4 week BFD) which means they check for updates every 4 weeks. So, according to that theory, I received my MR/RPRF/PPR/PCC request on a letter which was dated 25th April. Now, from that date, after every 4 week period, the VO would check my file to see what documents were received. By that logic, 15th august was one such 4 week cycle and I gues the VO checked on that date and since my passports were at NDVO on 2nd august, I got DM updated on 21st august. OFcourse, my PCC/RPRF had already reached NDVO by 31st May and Medicals received was indicated on 3rd july, so that only item pending since my last BFD was the passport which reached on 2nd august. Hence when my next 4 week BFD came up, I got DM...Ofcourse, in case SC is not clear for an applicant, mebbe VO puts another BFD date but atleast this is my theory.
Going by this theory, your initial MR date was 20th july, so 4 week BFD would be 17th august, so hopefully you see a DM update soon

For you convinience you can bring small packets or ready meals as well, but otherwise everything is available here.
$1-2 for 200gms of chilli and turmeric, I am not sure what are the prices in India. but fore sure you dont want to save few bucks by spoiling your clothes,
