Hi all. Sorry, if the topic is inappropriate... I am just a stupid newbie. What I can not understand about Canada is how the profession should be assessed in terms of NOC. For example, if you want to immigrate to Australia you have to apply to special organization(there are several organizations for different types of occupations - accounting, IT, doctors etc..), where you should provide all your qualification records, job references etc. If you assessment is positive, then you receive a certificate. Only the presence of this certificate gives you right to claim that you represent some profession from occupation list(NOC equivalent) and, therefore, obtain appropriate immigration points. The years of your experience are also included in this certificate.
But how about Canada? Is This the immigration officer who makes a decision according to the evidence(qualification transcripts, references etc) that you provide, not an assessing organization?
Thanks in advance.
