This is to announce, I've received my passport with visa today (19th May). ECAS showed decision made on 18th May with Canada Address.

Many many thanks to everyone on this forum, especially the moderators. This thread and few others have been a great source for information and learning.

I pray, next week, NDVO confers Visa on everyone who has been waiting for a month or more.

Today on my ecas address has been re-appeard which was disappear on 27th January 2012. The address reappear of Toronto. My passpost has been submited to CHC islamabad more than two weeks ago. Still does not come back. I am anxiously waiting for that.

anybody in this fourm recived DM without any updation in Ecas
Ecas shows only IN PROCESS.

DM in itself means "Decision Made" update in ECAS.

Maybe you want to ask if anyone has got Visa without DM updation on ECAS? If thats your question, the answer is YES. Sometimes people rcv their Visas before DM updation. Rare but not impossible.

Hello everyone,

Today after many day of waiting one more line has been added inside ECAS: "We started processing your application on May 16, 2012."

I had the "In Process" status since october 2011.
In january they asked for new PCC for all the famyly members over 18.(sent them in march2012)
And 2 weeks ago they asked for new POF which was received by the VO on may 10th 2012.

Why did they come with the update so many mothe after they changed the ECAS status?

Write them a mail but I would advice you also send a CSE.

hey yh I wrote cse to ndvo today but I mentioned my medical date as 29 march instead of 29 Feb. And then I wrote another mail mentioning the typo and correct date. Will that make any problem.

I dont think the earlier typo will be a big issue. Good you corrected it later.

CSE is Case Specific enquiry that you can send from the NDVO website. Go to the NDVO website and you will find a link for CSE there.
