There's no way to predict working of VOs since there are a lot of factors involved. But medicals is the last step, moreover you have the meds line too in CAS which implies the results are fine.

It's just that one day they will decide today we want to stamp & mail the passports & you will receive them. Delay doesn't indicate there's anything wrong with your application. So don't worry. You are through gurl. :)

If you recall, in my case people ( some 35 of them) who did meds around the same time had an update on their CAS . I had no update & no way to know if my reports ever reached visa office ( DMP hadn't provided us with tracking number) but still I got DM & Canadian address after three weeks without the meds line & passports 4 days later.

Yup...I agree...it's more of an operational execution delay (or that's what I want to believe ;)) as many of us are waiting in line!

I remember vividly about your ECAS meds thingy, coz I was worried about it too. And would prod you to check whenever somebody announced any ECAS update here :)

Hey RKC & Other Seniors

Thanks for the reply. For your information, I have not submitted my PCC with application as I was not sure about the processing timings & all.

Secondly, I have a question about the funds you know I need to show 8.5 lacs INR ($17000 odd )

I have enough funds but I have only 3+ lacs on my name & rest of the money is joint FDR on my dad & my name as he is Sr. citizen so we made deposits on his name. (First name & then my name)

I have enclosed a affidavit from my dad that this money belongs to me & he has no objection If i use this money for immigration purpose. I have also included the photocopies of FDRs which has my dad's & my name. I also got a letter from bank on their letter head on which bank has mentioned mine & my dad's name with FDRs number & stated that we have following FDRs with them..

Please update if I only have to have funds on my name or Joint FDR will work...

You could show shared funds with your spouse...that I am sure about. But with your dad...I'm not so sure. Maybe with all the paper work that you have enclosed, it will work. However I suggest you surf other threads on the forum and you will find a definitive answer to this query, I'm sure. Just so that you are prepared with documentation, should NDVO require clarification on this.

About PCC. You will rcvd a request with your MR. If your passport is issued from a city where they have Passport Seva Kendras, it is only a days job to get your PCC. But if it's from any other city, PCC could take upto a couple of months. I would think you may want to initiate enquiries on PCC timelines in your city. There are agents that can help you with that. I am talking from experience as my MR submission was delayed because of PCC.

Cheers

Your highness, now, spicey , all you girls should get together and start some sort of FSW counselling business lol

The affidavit from your dad should work. Preferably, money shown should be in your's or spouse's name. As suggested by YH , you should try & find out how much time it would take to obtain a PCC.
