I'm so happy! ;D :D ;D

Good luck to all! :-* :-* :-* :-*

PS: I saw this news in this website:

" The Government of Canada announced on 29 March 2012 a plan to reduce the backlog of Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) applications by returning all applications and government fees submitted prior to 27 February 2008. This will amount to a total of almost 300,000 returned applications, as well as approximately $130 million in refunded government processing fees.

Approximately 160,000 FSW applications, submitted after 28 February 2008, will remain in queue for processing."

Still I don't understand why there are so many from 2008 when we are getting our visas from 2011 ... :'(

Congrats Jorgill. Enjoy your slife in Canada :)

just to let you'll know, i applied on the 3rd november, did medicals on 5th march and sent passports on 8th march. Waiting for RPRF encashment. ecas status - in process.

Hey forblogs.....we are almost in the same timeline. Need a confirmation from your end: your eCas is not showing "Medicals Received" both on the first page, and inside, right?

O what a situation. we all have been assuming that before sending PER our payment is deducted. But your case tells some other story.
And yeah dear it will go to "Receiver General for Canada" and in canadian dollars and it will be from any bank in Canada. as banks here in Pakistan wont make DD in CAD of banks other than Canada. Mine was also of Canadian bank for application fees & RPRF fees.
Good luck.

Thanks again Lucky for your considerate response.
One more clarification:
I will make DDs in CAD which will be payable at Royal Bank of Canada at NS Canada, and then send them to LVO. It means that LVO will then send these DDs to CIO Canada for encashment. Am I right?

Congratulations for achieving the goal. Good Luck.

no nothing. I read a few posts by some people that they dont necessarily update the status. But some people have got it. God works in mysterious ways and so does NDVO
