How long does it take for a skilled worker application to get counted as part of the cap? My brother in law just sent his application in last week and is worried it will get returned. He applied as a cook.

till the time completeness check is done on the file and dd encashment, it is done before issuance of PER/NER......

So you dont think there is any way to find out if they have received everything. I understand that i am being paranoid but i cant help it at this point.

But is there a huge stack they haven't even gotten to yet? Or do they get through the applications received pretty quickly. Just wondering what my relatives chances are of getting in before the cap.
