dear members...
I have a query....
my PCC got expired during process on 27th dec. 2011...though I got PER on 21st dec. 2011...so basically PCC got expired after release of PER from CIC, sydney.
Now when I received MR, PPR and RPRF they have asked me some documents and processing fees for my new born baby...which I had informed them after receiving PER and AOR.....but they have not asked for PCC..whcih is already expired......
so what you think...?
what should I do....?
will they ask for updated PCC again....?
also I have recently updated my passport...just a few days back....included my spouse name in to my passport....which took complte process including fresh police verification....and passport issue dat eis 15th feb. 2012....
so what you guys think....?
do I need to take out PCC again...or its not required bcs I have recently issued passport....?

please advise....
thx

Dear Mitesh,

Firstly, congratulations on your MR and PPR. You will need not take another PCC. The PCC should be valid on the day your application was received by the CIO if you sent it along with the initial application. The rest of the process varies in length for each vo and applicant. The validity of PCC is only 3 months but that does not mean that VO requires a valid PCC when it issues a PR visa. If you already submitted a valid PCC once, you are good. If for any unknown reason NDVO requires an updated PCC, it will request you for the same. You need not send it again without being asked for. As far as I know, PCC is only individual specific and not passport specific. Having a new passport should not change anything. Sorry for the late reply. Sometimes, sending a PM to one of us helps. Good luck!
