Hello Every one,

Good Evening.

I got my PER on 07-Feb-12,hence when can I expect employer verification from VO end.As per forum,in next process VO will give one mail to me mentioning that we have received ur file on --date and ur file is under process.Do they call up my employer before this mail or after this mail.I mainly want to know when exactly and at what stage they normally do employer verification.

Some forum members say security verification is done at later stage but employer verification is done at early stage.Secondly reference letter is issued by HR manager before that she confirmed my duties from claims-HOD.HR manager is not aware about my detail duties, hence if CHC calls up my HR manager she might give wrong answer .I have attached my claims HOD business card with the application.Kindly advise what should I do now.

Hello Sadiq,

Recently I received part of this by email from the London Visa Office, I don't know if this will be of help to you. See below;

A new dependent can be added during the processing of an application.

You must submit a new application form including this new dependent on the applicant's form for permanent resident.

In order to add the child to an application for permanent residence at this office, we require the following documents:
processing fee for your child (if accompanying you to Canada)
your child's birth certificate
copy of your child's valid passport
4 recent photographs of your child
updated IMM0008 Generic for yourself and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself and your spouse.
a “Certificat de Sélection du Québec” for your child ( in his or her name), if you wish to immigrate to the province of Québec (http://www.micc.gouv.qc.ca/fr/index.asp)

Copies of the original documents with original certified translations into English or French are required. All documents must be sent by mail.

Your child must undergo a medical examination. We will send you the appropriate form upon receipt of the documents listed above. Be aware that even non-accompanying dependants must undergo medical examinations.

Application forms and photo specifications are available on our Web site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3901e.pdf

Please note that the eligibility of new dependents will be assessed by the visa officer.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post to the applicant at the mailing address provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.

Yours sincerely,

Just like what Your Highness suggested you really have to get the child Passport sorted, so that the rest process can follow. Am also of the opinion that you send them an email as well, it won't take long for their reply though they will request you to be patient for 28 working days, but mine took 7days. While you send them the email and waiting for their reply you have to sort the child passport and birth certificate.

Hello AUA,

Principal Applicant is already mentioned as you can see.

For your spouse, add him/her to the next row, which reads "Each family member age 22 or older". Number of persons will be 1. Amount per person is already mentioned. Amount due CAD $ write 550.

Then total it up and write $ 1100, in total payment.

Clear? :) If not pls ask.

Enjoy a +1 in the meanwhile!

Hello Rafayet...You may use the same notorised documents this time. But remember you have to provide fresh documents for the following:

Work Exp Letter (there are conflicting views on this though. Some say you can re-send the same ones, but I would advice you to get fresh ones, if it's not too much trouble. For your current job at least)
PCC
Proof of POF
All the forms

IELTS is valid for 2 years now. So that also you may re-send.

Trust this clarifies your doubts. Else please ask.

Thanks Your Highness.
About IELTS score i need your opinion. My score R 6, W 6.5, S 6.5, L 6.5. My noc 3111. What you think about proposed change in IELTS from July 2012.. Is there any chance to qualify with this score?

Cheers

Thanks Your Highness.

Thanks,

Brilliant, same thing I did.

Then @ Section B of the form I suppose I should request the LVO to cash CAD $550 for my spouse only since they've already cash CAD $550 for the principal applicant which myself. I am using a credit anyway.

You deserve a +1 my dear.

Yes. In section B you should mention only CAD 550, as your's has already been taken. However if I were you, I would enclose an explanation letter along with the form providing the entire history and clarification of why you have allowed for only CAD 550 deduction from your credit card. Though they would guess the reason, it's always better to clarify things upfront, leaving no place for amguity.

rafayet ....though there is no written document on the rules of MI4 July 2012, from all the discussions available on the net, I have gathered that there will be changes in the IELTS calculation, education and age. For professions that do not require very high levels of English language ability may get through with lower scores and vice versa. And same with edu levels. There are occupations that do not require a master's or bachalor's degree to achieve proficiency in their related work, in which case the education requirements for those would be reduced.

As for your NOC 3111, both requirements will be at higher levels. Only time will tell if your scores will qualify. If I were you, I would certainly give another attempt at IELTS to better the scores. Just to ensure that does not become a road block.

Trust ths info helped.
