The way it worked last yr was ... Whoevers cc were charged made the cap the rest got their applications sent back. Guess a lot of rejection letters were being printed. That's y cic took such a long time to update the cap

Wat now?? Do we wait for our CCs to be charged, or think that we are not in the CAP?

All the more confused ??? :'(

First time it happen that CAP of 3131: is unchanged even after 12 days.

On 10 Aug. it was 39 & today also 39.

Its a good for those who want to apply.

I guess all the staff were working on verifying the 1122 applicants in order to announce cap reached. Not just 3131, all other NOCs are untouched.

You are right Priya.. From now if any CC gets charged for the 1122 applicants then we can assume that that pattern doen't apply this year.. otherwise it's the watershed event that I predicted almost 3 weeks ago..

I feel now the cap count has got nothing to do with bd/ cc charges.... Guys, let's wait and see how many bds and ccs get charged this week.. How can they keep accepting applications for 1122 till august 22nd if they know the cap may surely get filled a month earlier... Not possible...

So guys just wait it out a little more... Am sure we'll hear of charges this week as completeness check is completed and cap updated and now they start charging....

i think most of us have made to the cap. it is clearly mentioned below the updated list:

*The number of complete Federal Skilled Worker applications received as of August 22, 2011 is approximate.

it means all the applications that are received on or before 22nd august have made it to the cap. if they say the figures are approximate....there might be a lag of a day or two. thats it.

true...even i never believe the theory of cap numbers directly related to cc / bd charges.

i think those guys were pretty busy in checking the completeness of the application of such a rush. and i really hope we see truck loads of BD / CC charges these week.

I was the first who brought this theory on this forum but now i cant believe that CIO had a backlog of 40 + days............If they would have declared cap reached by 20th july also.....then it would have been believable that applications received upto the 8th were only counted in.............

Guys nd galz whose application received on 8th july nd onwards... Plz check cc statements nd inquire from banks about bd en-cashment.............nd who completed 6 weeks PLZ SEND CIO AN E_MAIL OR CALL nd confirm the status of ur application...............
