Hi my dearest friends,
My e-case status is DECISION MADE from last many days .
But and but
And why and why
I have been called for an interview with my old passport.
I have spoken with few of my friends , and they told me i must have send them my old passport with the new one before itself.
Lol , it was clearly mentioned ön the PPR , i am so so so stupid.
I must have read it carefully.
Any ways i think its just a security cheak becoz they only asked me to bring my old passport with me.
Hope the VO will not pull my legs a lot.

Dear Mang dont worry you will get your visa after interview with out any issue..
Did you paid your visa fee? how much paid..? INR DD or CAD DD?

Thats what i was wondering about.. they had asked me to send all my previous passports..the same should have been the case with you.. but good that they asked now. Be positive and get come back with visa stamped on ur passport! Good Luck!!

I don't think so, not all countries even have biometrics passports anyway.

I agree with you on that but CIC may have different rules for some VO's

Actually that's true too, they may have different rules)) I hope they don't though as that might put me into a difficult situation - we live in a country where they do have biometric passports (I think), my country doesn't, and my husband's country has both, but he only has old fashioned passport and it takes like 4 months to get biometric passport through his embassy

There is absolutely no reason to worry right now. If you do not get your PER by the end of Jan, you may call CIC and get your status update. So just chill till end of this month.

Urgent reply required.they said envelope should be 9 inches and12 inches..bt this to small to place all the documents..wat to do..plz reply asap

Mine was slightly bigger as my uni transcripts were in a bigger sealed envelope and it didn't seem to matter.

Well, after much anxiety and some words of comfort from dear RKC, westpoint and alaindotcom, it came to a pleasant stop with my MR envelope lying on my bed ( delievered via Air collect ) at my house while I was out. It was a very welcoming feeling to open that and see my MR forms and a cover letter.

Thanks guys, you were right and I was anxious ( as thats what we all are ) and now smiling to have moved one step forward in the application process.

However, I have been asked to submit the NBI clearance while I had submitted the QCPD police certificate along with my application.

Alaindotcom / any other kind forum member from Manila : Can you please advise if an NBI clearance can be obtained from outside the Philippines as presently, I am out of the country for a few months. Or would it be that I will have to travel to Manila and get the NBI certificate. Heard that they have speed up the process and now one can get the certificate the same day of application ? , is that right ?

RKC : Any news on your MR ? Hope and wish the best for you dear.

Any help will be much appreciated.
