I am in an early stage - waiting for first AOR. However I have a question.

My kids passports were made when they were one year and 6 month old. Now both passports are 3.5 years old.

My question is when I get the PP request do I need to get new passport with new photographs. I read in one of the discussion that the kids photo should be not less then one year.

Hi ,

No , you don't need to prepare new ones until the validity of those passports, what you need is to provide latest (at best three months old) photographs while sending your full docs to VO, if there is no specific instructions regarding this issue.

Dear at the time of passports submission, u need to furnish latest pics of all accompanying members as per CHC criteria and to be sent along with passports. No need to upgrade the passport pics

We are still waiting for our PPR, now getting a bit inpatient....Medicals done on the 24th June, sent on the 28th. I truly hope to get PPR in the next couple of days.
Any news from others' side?

I have sent my medicals on july 7th, 2010 and mystatus changed to medicals received on August 10th, 2010. But I have not received passport request yet. Does your status change to medical received as well?

Went through medical on 25th June and send passport on 5th July 2010 to CHC new Delhi and received Visa on 16th August 2010,

Hi,

No, my ecas still shows "in process". My doctor told me that it takes 3 weeks to evaluate the medical examinations in my Vienna visa office and after that it takes another 4-6 weeks till we can receive PPR. Now we are in the 4th week so there are still at least 3 weeks to wait...If we still won't get PPR after this period then I don't know what we should do....

I am also waiting and I do not know why it is taking so long. I have seen people getting passport request in two weeks and the rest in a month with the exception of other that is taking longer. I am like you if I do not get passport request this week, i do not what to do. Let keep in touch to see what happens. Do you think that we should email the Visa Office.

Yes, I guess I will e-mail the visa office, I will probably send an e-mail to that immigration officer who actually signed our medical request documents before. At leastyou know that they already received your medicals while I am not even sure if they have received my medicals or not. Yes, it's really frustrating to wait so much at this last stage so close to our goal..

We (wife & me ) did our medical on July 27 and also sent(July 27 ) my son's papers and fees to add him with our application .I received my son's medical request on August 16 and finished on August 18.E-cas still shows "In Process ".
