seems like its going to be more difficult for students to find a job now. New changes are coming up on feb 21st . CIC wants students as they pay tuition but they dont want students getting a job here in canada.

Does this apply for a Coop program? If i get admitted to a Coop course does this rule apply for the job i'll take-up during my Coop?

this is another nail in international students coffin. I dont think this applies to COOP but I am not sure.
finding a job is more difficult now with this new rule. Already express entry has put international students at a disadvantage and now this. Canada has lost its appeal. we should look at other countries now.

There is also a petition put forth by International Students regarding Express Entry.. Express Entry is unfair to International students because after all those years of paying more than double tuition plus paying taxes, You will be competing with International Skilled workers who are getting favor according to this new express entry system.

Canada is not a bed of roses for International Students.

You are right Mead, Canada is no better than Aus, USA, UK. Same plot to grab money from International Students, that's why they are issuing more study permits like UK. Wish if i had moved to UK instead.

i am too I have already spent lots of money on fees ...who knows what will happen hope the express entry points come down.

Can't one apply to their respective PNP's ? PNP's can do something for International grads I suppose.
