Vancouver is very nice place to live...but job hunting is difficult as well... If you have good contacts over here, its fine... otherwise you would be able to see all the scenic natural beauties and locations but it would be of no use if pockets are empty!

You can use Craigslist, Monster, Workopolis kinda websites to search and see what jobs are there for you... Even when you apply, it is difficult to get calls without local Canadian experience...

Last thing, living in Vancouver is very pleasing but at very high cost... So think twice before making decision...

P.S: I am not telling its a bad idea to land here...just my suggestion to look for other options as well... Good Luck...

There are a lot of site where you can job hunt.

www.monster.ca
www.jobserve.ca
www.workapolis.com

And as mentioned in the previous post, it is hard to look for jobs anywhere within Canada because of the local canadian experience. Some would try to apply for jobs that is not related to their current job or some would do volunteer work just to gain the canadian experience.

Good luck! :)
