Jobs for Indian CA cum US CPA

Hi All,

My name is Amit and I am CA cum CPA having experience of about 7 years. Recently, I got immigrant visa for Canada and now I am in search of suitable job in Ca particularly in Vancouver. What are the chances of getting job in this city? Within how much time can someone expect to get job say in 2/3/4 months time? Are these qualifications recognized in ca?

Would like to get some advice from existing CA's working there including the experience you gained while settling there.

Hello Amit and other CA /& CPA Friends,


I have same situation, qualified with CA, India & CPA, USA with 8-10 years experiences (mostly in Industries). Presently working in NY as a Financial Controller, but serioulsy looking forward to move to Canada (in any decent city).

Could you please advice on the situation and how I can search for a relevant job?
