If you are outside Canada, chances are slim. They will not call you. But u have to make an effort to contact them..
You chances will be very high when u move to Canada.
I searched through, linked in, indeed.com and every other job sites and also individual companies websites to look for jobs.
I managed to secure a few interviews within 2 weeks of arrival in Vancouver and finally found a full time job in the banking sector in 3 weeks. So I say be patient and u have to be very lucky in terms of job search.

If anyone needs help in finding finance/banking positions, I may provide u with the links and contacts that I have used.

Hi all ,i am Robert from Hungary first off all i contacted the Illuminated Canada recruitment company to find me a job and they find me in Calgary.We signed a contract for 2 years with Cold Frog Inc and i have LMO visa in mi passport and work permit to but no job,when i make all the papers medical exam ect. 3-4 months, the company has no work for me .Now i am looking for a job in construction or carpenter i have 5 and 4 years experience !So if anyone know somewhere a job offer please help me! Hi Kev!

I am currently searching for a job for an accounting or finance finance function. Since my NOC is not part of the list of preferred for FSW, I am hoping to secure a job for me to get a VISA to enter Canada.. Are you aware of companies that hire from overseas? I am in the Philippines now.
