Hello All,

My sister is in INDIA and I am in US, however I want to try for her immigration or skilled job category visa for CANADA.

I was told by some1 in CANADA that you can get job visa by paying certain amount of money.

Can any one please help me in this regard? and also if anyone can help me for any other option.

Thanks.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
First she needs a job offer, then the employer and herself can apply for a labour market opinion and work permit. It costs $150. Then when the work permit is issued, she can come over. You can deal with employment agencies to help her find a job but success is not guaranteed.

Hello Leon,
Thanks for your reply,I have no contacts in CANADA, so I'm really confused as who can give me job letter.

Some one told me that I can get job letter and PRO if I pay $25,000 ,can it work like this?

I want to try everything possible to help her come here.

Thanks again.

For $25,000 for sure it's some kind of scam. It's possible that somebody will for that provide a authentic looking job offer but they could also just take your money and run. You can not buy a PR. There is an investor class for investors who want to come to Canada but it's more like $400,000 they have to invest and for 5 years.

If she wants a job, she has to do what everybody else has to do. Look. There is http://www.monster.ca and http://www.workopolis.com/ and http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/Intro_en.aspx

She could also contact a recruiting agency. What are her skills & education?

Hi,

I am looking for a job in Canada as well, but I don't know how much I pay for finding a job. In my hometown, there is an agency they offer 8,000$CA. Is it reasonable?

Please share your ideas. Thanks

Contact the two agencies that I gave and ask their prices. Technically they are not allowed to charge you for finding a job but they can charge your for other services such as helping you with your CV. There have been cases where agencies cheated people by thousands of dollars and in some cases they weren't even licensed to operate in the provinces they were operating in. The two I gave are at least real companies. One of them was given by somebody on here who knew of them and the other I knew somebody who was working there. Be careful of who you give your money to.

Hi Leon,

I have just sent them an email to ask about finding me a job in Canada. I don't know whether they are going to reply or not.

HI Leon,

Thanks once again for your reply, well I was told that if I pay 25,000 she can get the work permit along with job gurantee.
I think the amount is really big just to get the job permit.
She has done some diploma in computers.

Any advice is highly appreciated!!!

Thanks.

I wouldn't do it. I think it's a scam. You could pay them the money and they run and what will you do? You have no recourse to get what you paid for because they may not be in the position to provide it.

If she is in computers, it should not be too hard for her to find a job and get a temporary work permit leading to ability to apply for PR through Provincial Nominee Program. Here are the job links again http://www.monster.ca and http://www.workopolis.com/ and http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/Intro_en.aspx

If it smells like a scam, looks like a scam ...It is a SCAM! $25,000 scam at that. Don't bite! Be careful....There is no guarantee and once the money leaves your hand its GONE!!!.
Also be careful about special advisers on this forum who prefer to offer one on one advice. Some are genuine but some are also fraudsters. Keep your questions and replies in the public forum view ...someone will see if its wrong or a scam.
