Job transfer and pr......what are the implications?

Hi - I have just been approved for pr and my company wants to keep me working for them when I move (my work is done online). What are the implications for my company/me in terms of employment regulations/costs? Thanks.

You are thinking tax-wise? I assume you keep filing taxes in the country where you have your income as well as you would file in Canada as foreign income because you would be living in Canada. As long as the two countries have a tax treaty, it shouldn't be a problem.

THanks. I am moving from UK but likley to continue to work for the same company. Will I be employed under UK or Canadian legislation. We have the company lawyers looking into it......I'm just trying to get ahead of the game! Do you know of any good sites for this?

While working remotely and being paid in UK currency, I assume you would be under UK legislation. I don't really know enough about this though. Wait for the lawyers to come through with something.
