Job title vs Occupation

In the first set of application where ever it's mentioned Occupation do I need to mention the Company title I hold or I need to match with the name present in the CIC website. e.g. 0213 is computer system manager also some more listed in the CIC website , Do I need to put that or I need to put my company job title.

U can use either. CIC is mainly concerned with your job duties. If u feel your job title really translates your job duties then go ahead with it, otherwise you should use another job occupation name. CIC is well aware that every company almost has different job titles for the same job, so u don't need to worry at all.

What matters is, not your title..but what you do in your role..be very clear about your functions in your role..

we are applying under NOC 3134 and we mentioned my wife`s (PA) trade (special education) instead of a job title... gave out all JDs which meet most of the JDs mentioned against 3143.... so job title is not important at all... since occupation is defined as trade as well....JDs are what matter to be eligible under ministrial instructions for FSW1....

Write your job duties which you perform on the job and it should match with the job duties given in NOC you are applying for and if not 100% atleast 70% job duties should match with the NOC job duties.

Whats your NOC ? check the duties of your NOC and change the wording a bit, you can also write the same wording if you are performing that duty. Just write in points form dont have to write a paragraph or something.

Hi...
I am a dentist presently working as a LECTURER in a dental college and I perform all the duties of a dentist and some of the duties of a lecturer. Earlier I have applied as a lecturer but unfortunately could not complete the documents So I withdrew my case and now I want to reapply as a dentist as now lecturer is not in the list.
What occupation and NOC should I write in schedule 3 form and B/G decl.form?
