Job Title or Responsibilities

Hello,

My question is should NOC be selected based on job title or duties? My case is I have been working as a Product manager while my duties fits 2171 which is another NOC than product manager's. So how does CIC judge?

I have the same question. my title maps to 0213 but all the additional work i do also maps to some other NOC too.
can someone please advice.

Job responsibilities / duties is what CIC checks to ensure that you match a particular NOC that you choose.
A Job title can match several NOC's. Working with job duties, you are able to pick a specific NOC and get experience letters from your employer to certify that you worked performing those duties
