Job title of immediate supervisor

Hey guys,

One of my ex-managers departments was recently dissolved and he was transferred to another team (not as manager though).

IRCC asks us to put "title" of our immediate supervisor/personnel officer - does it mean title of my ex-manager at the time he was my manager or his title now?

Tbh, the former makes more sense. Do let me know.

Hoping someone can help.

I guess what I mean to ask is : Will my reference letter look bad/invalid if my ex-manager's current title does not contain the word "Manager".

You can put his title now and explain the situation in the LOE.

You can also have HR sign it and provide your manager's business card or his contact information.
