Guys any1 of you pls..looking for some sound advice.

Hi there. I am working for TCS in Calcutta and I too have decided to go to Canada.

I too am trying to find out how the IT scenario is in Canada.
But one thing is sure. Since Canada closed immigration for IT category 0213 (or something) from June 2010, I think job oppportunities are being filled up as we speak. The faster we go, the better our chances are.

Some inside information (gathered from people who have gone on site) say that there are still a lot of IT related jobs up for picking, but one has to go through the right channels, as most of them prefer referral candidates.

Hope is still on our side though. Don't worry. Make the jump bro..

P.S - Maybe we could get in touch or something, since we are almost on the same boat :)

Hi, thanks bro yup i too have heard the same esp. in BC and quebec there's still a shortage of skilled IT people.

Quebec is a different story altogether I've heard. French dominates the general lingo.

Montreal's got a whole lotta opportunities since most of the good companies have pretty big centers there.

and the weather!! wooooooo.... 8)
