Hi everyone,

I like your suggestion reg the job reference letter. Should the letter be addressed to IRCC or be specific for this purpose.

Because I have a copy of letter written by my supervisor listing all my duties but its addressed to some one else. Can that be used because I cannot ask for a refrence letter for this purpose as this is my current job and would affect my current position.

Thanks

It can be “To whom it may concern”

Thank you TLOU for your reply. I also wanted to know if I can use a letter addressed to someone else for this purpose as I cannot get a letter for this purpose or claiming something else and asking it to be addressed 'to whom it may concern'

If you really don't want to bother your employer by asking for another reference letter, then submit it as it is. I think it should be fine as long as it has all the required info as stated by CIC. Just make sure you explain your situation as to why the letter is addressed to someone else in a Letter Of Explanation.

Good luck!
