Job opportunities after Diploma in Canada?

Do any of the graduates out of these diploma programs like Business, accounting, financial services actually get any jobs in Canada? Especially SINCE I have already finished bachelors, wasting more time in transferring credits and spending overall 3-4 years in uni doesn't make sense.

Because from I found out, diploma holders have no jobs available at all is it true? Esp sice 10000s of graduates are out of Ontario colleges every year.

Sure - some people certainly get jobs. Having said that, diplomas aren't that valuable to most employers in the fields you've mentioned. Most of these employers are looking for degrees (BComm, MBA) and professional designations like CA.

And, if we are preparing for CPA? I'm still searching for colleges and contacting CPA canada regarding all this. Just job stuff is what I need to know.

If you already have your CPA designation - that's one thing. If you are just preparing - that's not going to get you much.

Look at it logically. You're going for a diploma because it's relatively easy to get. Anything that's relatively easy to get is something many people can do and that will therefore be less valuable when it comes to looking for a job (because it's relatively easy to get). That's generally how life works. If you want a strong chance of secure a good job with a good company in the fields you've mentioned - you need to go with an MBA at one of Canada's better universities.

Totally agree with you on this. But sadly as I have a 3 year degree, I can't apply for MBA in Canada. I do not think a diploma would bridge that gap?

go for a one year PG diploma which would complete your 16 years of education and then apply for a good 1 year masters program in a good university in your final semester.

That way you not only get good educational qualification but also eligibility for a 3 year PGWP

This is the best solution.

Some more questions:

1) Is a Bcom degree even Valid in Canada?

2) Does any Indian experience even count there?

3) I am studying for the american CMA is it even valid in Canada?
