Hi,
I postponed the oath invitation last Nov as I'm outside of Canada, and am flying back to Canada tomorrow (1) to renew my PR card (which will be expired this month) and (2) to notify IRCC my return to resume the rest of the citizenship process(i.e. oath ceremony).
The status of my file is updated to "Citizenship Ceremony Not started" since then.
And a few days ago, I got a job offer (it's not official though) from my home country. The future employer wants me to join as soon as possible, so I might need to fly back from Canada soon. I want this job offer as much as I want Canadian citizenship.
In terms of the physical presence requirements (2 years out of 5 years), I will be safe by the end of this year. But, I hope to complete this citizenship process within this year.
May I ask IRCC to give me the oath date in advance for this reason(Job offer/work outside of Canada)?
If you were me, what would you do?
Need some advices. Thank you.

If I were you (in November and not postponing the oath) I would fly to Canada as soon as I get the oath invitation and complete the ceremony somewhere in Canada.

If you go ahead and tell IRCC that you want your oath to be expedited for this reason I have a feeling they might not process your request for the invite.... you are basically giving a reason of no intention to reside in Canada once you have your citizenship.

Keep that job information to yourself, and try to figure out the logistics between an unknown oath date and the job.
In all cases, a job offer outside the country has nothing to do with the application and cannot speed up the process.

A job opportunity outside of Canada is not a reason for expediting anything during a citizenship application.

Thank you for all of your inputs!
As many of you suggested, I will not mention about the job offer and try to figure out the logistics. Wish me luck.
