Job offer in canada

Hi there , from Ireland, got job offer to work in canada,got LMO ,and job offer and paper work payed the fee, send all information into embassy true my cic account ,after sometime got the approval [work permit]. The job in canada was put on hold maybe year,in the mean time got another job offer with lmo.,[right here we go]My question is [A] Do i have to apply again for work permit to the embassy with new information which will take time. Or Fly over to canada show the boarder officer my new LMO and job offer and all paper work required will he issue a new work permit ,dont know what to do the job start in 4 weeks,can anybody give me advice on this . waiting to here back cedarred

If you hold an Irish passport and are therefore visa exempt, you can fly to Canada and obtain your work permit at the port of entry.

Hi scylla ,are you saying once you have job offer and lmo from canadian employer you can fly to port of entry to obtain work permit with out going true embassy for clearance .

Yes - but only if you hold a visa exempt passport.
