Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi,

My husband got an job offer from an overseas consultancy in India. They have multiple jobs in Canada.Though they are charging good amount but still is it a good idea to go for it? Our CRS score is 404. What are the probability in EE?

Be careful any time you are told huge amount of money is to be submitted for getting a "job". More likely than not it's a scam.

Most likely a scam. I wouldn't do it.

They asked him to pay everything after he gets ticket and visa in hand

Many times they ask for a bond of 2-3 years & pay a lot less than prevalent salaries. In my case they offered 50-60k CAD PA, whereas prevalent salary is 80-90k PA, that too after paying GOOD amount to them. One of my friends worked in pathetic conditions for a year because of such bond.

With 404 score, if you get OINP invitation then you will have to spend just $1500 for getting ITA.

Still sounds like a scam. Most genuine job consultancies will not charge the applicant - rather they charge the hiring company.
Sorry but with 404 - you have a decent chance of getting provincial nomination. I advise to go that route

What ticket? The airline ticket? If they are talking about arranging both the airline ticket and the visa - SCAM.

If the deal is that you give them money and they will do paper work for LMIA backed (fake) job which will enable you to get Canadian PR, then beware . You will not be there only client. Sooner or later authorities will bust them and then they will come after all their "clients" for visa fraud meaning cancellation of PR, deportation from Canada and no visa of any sort from any reputable country in future.

If they are genuinely a consulting company, trying to bring cheap overseas workers then they will make you sign bonds and pay you peanuts for several years. You have to understand, there interest is not to make money by getting your passports stamped but to make you work as consultants for years where the consultancy will eat 40%-50% of your net hourly billing. Several Indian consultancy firms commonly used this tactic for sponsoring US H1B's but US got strict so looks like they have now turned to Canada.
