Dear all,
i have a question regarding my application case.

i applied in August 2009 and received document request in 02 October 2009.i applied as accountant.
i submitted all my documents except IELTS. in January 2010 before the deadline which was 02 feb 2010.
I done ielts three times but with no luck i got first time 6 out of 16 then 2nd time 8 and third time 6.
my ielts score should be 16 to be qualify,
but from other side i was also trying for job offer ,and successfully i got job offer in January and send it to hrsdc in 15 feb 2010 ,and current time of processing is 8 to 12 weeks and the employer done everything just waiting answer from hrsdc..
and my consultancy office which i applied told me they are going to send my job offer letter copy with email from employer for requesting for extension ,and they told me they might agree ,and they sent it with my ielts 8 score if my AEO be ready i will get 10 points and the total points will be 69 more than before just trying because if i will not send them job offer letter so i have to register for ielts again and again without any benefit ,so do you think its good idea or should i withdraw my application and apply again,
my elder brother applied and got his file number and he submitted his ielts exam after five months after deadline and he done the medical now and paid landing fees.

i know its different from case to case or person to person.

hope some one have same experience.

thanks
regards

1. From the above post your english seems to be Ok, so why r u getting lower scores in the IELTS?

2. Your consultant suggested correctly, the CHC might oblige with an extension.

3. Withdrawing the apps is of no use in your case. Even if they reject, u can always reapply. A minor loss of the apps fees should be acceptable by u.

From CIC

A) Requests for extensions

"The FSW application kit [IMM EG7000] informs applicants “visa offices are strictly enforcing the 120 day rule and will not provide extensions.” In addition, applicants are informed clearly and unambiguously of the documentary requirements and the timeframes for submissions to the visa office. The FSW kit states: Consult the Visa Office specific requirements now to determine what documents you will need to provide ... If you are not prepared to submit full documentation to the Visa Office within 120 days do not apply now.

Applicants are given notice from the outset that if they are not prepared, they should not apply. Applicants who follow this notice should be able to meet the deadline. The IMM EG7000 is available at the following link: www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG73.asp

Nevertheless, some applicants will request extensions. All requests must be properly considered, documented in CAIPS notes and answered. Visa officers must bear in mind, however, the importance of the 120 day deadline in order to manage these cases efficiently."
