Job Offer but no Post Graduate Work Permit yet

Hello,

I recently graduated and had applied for the post graduate work permit. At the moment the processing times are 103 days, so its taking a while. I have received a job offer but they are saying that I cannot start working until I have documentations to prove that I can work in canada. I still have a SIN number that I got during my study days, which even though is expired would still work since they allow it if my application is under process. What can I submit to my employer so I can start working immediately.

hey,
congratulation on your job offer.
you can start working with the company with the same SIN number. meanwhile you can call CIC call center and ask them for a email about that. they have a email which states that you can legally work full time if you have applied for work permit and it is in process.
later you can print this mail along with application confirmation letter to submit it to the employer.

so chill out and start working with your same SIN.
