Hi All,

I wanted to know, How is the job market of canada are there any good chances of getting a Job with a green card (PR) of Canada..?????
Or it is like US ..where most of the Jobs are for only US Citizens. Even after getting permanent residence, is it like that, You need to be a canadian Citizen to get a Job.

Also, I wanted to know, if the PR applied under the NOC category , After getting the PR we wanted to change our fields of Job can we do that ?

What are the Conditions imposed for the PR of Canada ?
How easy it's to get a Professional job in Canada ?

Please suggestsssss and Guide. As sometimes it's like an illusion..when go go thr it's different.

Thanks in Advance

Only government (some not all) jobs in the US are for citizens. In fact, PRs are given equal opportunity in most jobs. It is the same in Canada but in Canada, they also like local experience and local education.

Legally, there is no imposition.

I am going with rupeshhari's comments. You don't need US Citizen for every job, most federal job require security clearance but not every position.
Private sector is the biggest employer not Government--- Also, most professional prefer to stay in private sector.

Same goes for Canada, certain government job's are only for Canadian citizens.

Yes, once you have PR, you can work in any profession but most folks would like to stay in their area of expertise. Market and your skill set will influence how quickly you find position in your domain. Good luck!
