Hello everyone,

I have a question, right now due to unfortunate situation I got laid off after 3 years of working, on Oct 22 from that company, they were my sponsor for BC PNP, I got my ITA in Jan 2024 and I submitted the PRO application on Feb 19, and still no update from IRCC, my question is regarding informing IRCC, I already informed BC PNP about my laid off on a same day Oct 22, they asked me to look for a job nothing more, but I don't know if I should inform IRCC via Web form or not, my BC PNP is not restricted to a specific employer also I have an open work permit,

Medicals are passed
Criminality is passed
Eligibility is passed
Security is still ongoing

yeah it seems it was based on a job offer, I have access to BC PNP portal and I can see the job offer section was filled with the information of that company, but on the other hand in the dashboard I can see the status is "Decision Finalized"

Did bc pnp offer you certain days to find another job?
this is what they sent to me

Thank you for notifying us of the change to your employment situation. This information has been added to your file.

In the event of a loss of employment, it is our expectation that you will seek alternate employment in B.C. as well as continuing to meet the conditions of your nomination which includes maintaining full-time employment in B.C.

The BC PNP may consider changes in your employment after you have been nominated if your new position continues to meet the requirements for nomination and if you can demonstrate that you continue to have the ability to economically establish in B.C. If the change of employment is accepted, the BC PNP will review your circumstances to determine if a work permit support letter is needed to allow you to obtain a work permit, and if so, will issue one at that time."

The BC PNP may consider changes in your employment after you have been nominated if your new position continues to meet the requirements for nomination and if you can demonstrate that you continue to have the ability to economically establish in B.C. In making this determination, the BC PNP may consider, but are not limited to, the following factors:

  1. the circumstances regarding your termination or cessation of employment
  2. the amount of time you have been unemployed
  3. your ability to secure alternative employment with a BC PNP eligible employer
  4. whether you remain in B.C. and can continue to demonstrate the ability and intent to live, work and economically establish in B.C.

Additional information may be requested to assess whether the BC PNP can offer continued support of a nomination. The BC PNP may provide you with an opportunity to respond to any evidence or concerns raised during this assessment.

If your GCKey account shows Final Decision was made, then maybe wait for a few days, most probably you got it and should receive COPR & P1 email, no?

Did you check your tracker? Is it different from your GCKey account?
In my case, background check was still in progress when I received the PR approval. It changed a few days after that.
