Job Interview (final round) at Shopify - VISA type confusion

Hi guys,

Has anybody here/anybody's friends gone to Canada on a tourist visa to give a job interview (provided the company is inviting you there with an official letter and providing you with accommodation, food and flight journey)?
Queries :
1. did you tell the exact reason or told going to visit somebody?
2. Is there any rejection fear if I tell them going for a job interview (Company has given me the invitation letter + hotel reservations)?
3. Should I go with consultants like Thomas Cook or do it by myself? Would like to know 1st hand experiences.

Lying to CIC is a serious offense.

2. Is there any rejection fear if I tell them going for a job interview (Company has given me the invitation letter + hotel reservations)?

There is always reject fear.

3. Should I go with consultants like Thomas Cook or do it by myself?

If you feel you cannot do it by yourself then hire someone.
