Job in Toronto and it is asking for setup a coop

Hi,

I am new to here and I start to look for job. I just got a reply from an agent and she is trying to explain the job detail. Also, she said it requires to setup my own company. I heard it but it is uncommon in my hometown. It seems I need to register a company to pay the tax and the employer can send me salary through my company. Is it correct? Does anyone have more detail and anything I need to take care of?

Also, did my working experience in my hometown count in here? I have more than 10 years exp and I worked in Dow Jones, Merrill Lynch, HSBC, Goldman Sachs and Heineken in my hometown.

You should be very wary as this doesn't sound like "employment" but as a contact position, effectively self-employment.
