Hey everyone....

so a brief summary of my journey

i got ITA in jan 2016
replied to it in march 2016
got PPR in october 2016
landed in february 2017

after searching for job frantically for 4 months, now I am working as a Business Analyst at a Canadian Company which is a globally renowned brand in medical industry.

the point of writing this post is......i cam from a small businesses background from India, and was not into the typical IT consulting world/software industry for a long time. there are many many resumes in canada which were better than mine on paper.

still i could break through into this job market, which is not typically friendly towards non recognized companies and obscure employer names from India or anywhere else in the world. there are jobs in Canada, it's all about confidence and playing the resume in correct way. things work out!!!!

Hey,

I am also working in BA role right now and expecting PR soon. Could you please share your qualification and exp ? Also, in which city were you able to secure this job ? Any suggestions prior landing for BA folks ?

well, the thing that worked for me is establishing common factors in experience. resume should look professional to read and work background needs to be transferable to current BA competencies and specializations.....like CRM, ERP, development project support, UAT dominant roles.....as a BA you need to find a niche and fit your resume in the industry or tool. i recommend joining immigrant serving agency programs here as well...there are many
