hello guys !!!

if you have any comments or suggestions about ways on how to get a job here in toronto you can drop your comments anytime ....

six months ago I arrived here in Toronto...no friends no relatives... imagine my delima got nowhere to go... not even a single person to ask how the whole job application process...

It would help to know what kind of job you're looking for (what area, field, industry). The process of looking and applying for a job can be really different from industry to industry.

yup !!!

they said it is important for you to have a network because everything here in canada is about building your network... and sometimes your previous job experiences will not be credited... it is more like you have to start from scratch all over again .... :)

Could try volunteering around and working for free for people.

When they need someone to hire, you'd be available as long as you gave them your contact information and you did a good job for them.

they are pretty much looking for "canadian experience" which you practically do not have because you are a new immigrant :).....

on my case i took any job just to get me started... because i have rent and bills to paid...

2 weeks after got my first job at a manufacturing company... everything is overwhelming cause it is completely different from what i used to do.

i got the job for 2 weeks and i quit ...

then i went to a job fair .... got several interviews and got another job at "loblaws" as a partimer ... then another job at canadian tire 2 months later full time hours.....
