Hppe this message finds all of you well.

I would like to work in Canada in Electricity industry.
I have been working in Uganda in electricity industry for the last 16years and would like to transfer my expertise and work in Canada.
I started as Electrical Engineer after my Bachelor's degree.
I was later promoted to Power systems Protection Engineer and Energy Metering.
I was again promoted to Senior Protection and Metering Engineer for National grid.
Later transferred my service to another organisation under Ministry of Energy and worked as Senior planning Engineer power systems for over 8years.
I can submit my detailed resume to the employer who is willing to utilize my experience. When I get Job offer, I can start processing the travel visa and there after work permit or resident permit
Kindly advise on what procedures to take and how to contact the interested employers

Apply for jobs on Canadian job sites like Indeed. You need a job offer and your employer needs to file for and pay $1k for a LMIA. The LMIA shows that no Canadian or PR could be hired, only you have the education/experience and language skills. Then with LMIA, you apply for a closed work permit. For the permit, you show that you are experienced to do the job. Depending on the job requirements, you may need IELTS for language and ECA for education. Most if not all jobs posted will say that you must be a citizen, PR or a person with work authorization to apply so no point in applying for those jobs.

Also engineering is a licensed profession so many jobs may are P.Eng. So look at licensing for the province you want to live in.
