i sent my full documents to chc london received their 5th may 2010, still no 2nd AOR received

Hi,

They can verify by calling or if needed by person as well, some applicants from Bangladesh seen people from CHC visiting their work place but it all depends on visa officer if he is statisfied what you have shown in the documents then maybe he dont if consider calling your employer. They verify it in the second stage and when your status will change "in process" as you have not received the 2nd AOR yet so means there is still time before they start verifying your documents.
