Hi guys..
@Naturgrl,, and other experts plz reply
Is it ok to have in hand salary slips as income proof..for upcoming caregiver program… I don’t have salary in bank account or income tax returns.. have reference letter and appointment letter as additional proofs..
Will it be a weak point for me to have salary slips , to not have bank statement as salary proof?

Sorry, that's confusing me.
I am employed in India and working for a school that pays my wages, its not what I used to make but for the time being I am employed.
Or are you thinking I am in Canada and having a job offer ?
I just wanted to know if my eligibility for the program, never applied any permanent residence or work permit, except for a visitor visa that my brother in Canada had sponsored. Did not visit Canada either as I lost my job, but I do have a visit visa in which he mentioned me working as a Lecturer last year.

You need to have a job in Canada to qualify. The program is also closed at this time. Since you don't have a job offer in Canada yet, the earliest you will most likely be able to apply is January 2026 - but only if you manage to secure the job offer in Canada. You cannot apply at this time.

You are not eligible for the caregiver program, even if it was open, because a job offer is mandatory. Having a TRV is not relevant.

So If I had a Job offer then only can I be eligible, I mean that is what I am missing(my understanding) and rest is fine.

your insights are eye opening.
let say I get a job offer, for once lets just assume.
My career changed, IELTS not booked, WES as masters in Biology, previous career as lecturer for three and half years(temporary), now caregiver for the last 10 months, single, female 34.
Just want to know if I have a second chance in life.

For the caregiver program you need a job offer in someone’s home. And that family or individual must be eligible with income, legitimate job offer etc. So unless you get a job offer the program is not an option for you.

My real brother is a citizen, working a good job, his wife is a software professional, have two kids, can they give me an offer.

Sure, you have a chance if you can get a job offer. You should assume the earliest you will be able to apply is 2026. Processing times are around 3 years. So it will likely be 2029 before you can move to Canada.
