Hello everyone,

Hope all is well with you people.

Actually I want some advices on writing 'main duties' in the schedule 3 application form. Do those have to be the exact copy of the ones listed on your reference letter (on which the employer will be explaining your job duties)?
I mean, is it advisable to summarize the job duties while writing them down on the application form or should we describe them in the same manner as it will be done on the reference letter (i.e. in an 'explanatory' way)?

Any input will be highly appreciated, especially from those who have passed the document-checking stage at their respective visa offices.

Thanks and regards,

i think whatever you write should be substantiated later by your letter so any similarity would be good. if it is exact, they may think that you told ur manager what to write.

About writing the job duties, shall I copy exactly as what have been listed under Main duties on NOC for a particular duty that applies to me? Or, shall I write it with my own words to elaborate the same/similar duty?

I will go with writing in your own words. If you only copy and paste, do you think that would look real? Just take care one thing, if its a managing or administration post, mention clearly that you was a Manager or Administrator.

In IMM form you will be giving more detailed explanation about your duties and roles, but in your ref letters / exp letters it would be mentioned at high level like
He was involved in following activities
Project Planning, Scheduling, Requirement gathering,Review with Business owners/stackholders, Task Delegation to team members, Budget control and plan, Trainings, Team rampup(interviewing) ( Just an example)

You need to make sure what ever you are mentioning in IMM forms should be well supported by your ref/exp letters.

Good luck
