is it compulsory to register in job bank while making EE profile??

The job alerts they send me a few times each week mostly aren't even by any means related to my profession.

The few jobs my husband applied to all told him "wrong location" I don't know what was the point of it. When I switched and became primary applicant I barely filled the minimum information just to get the registration success. Job hunting on indeed and monster sites instead

When I was last in Canada on a TWP the Service Canada agent advised me to check the job bank when I was registering for a SIN. I think I took one look at it back then and then just diverted my attention towards Craigslist and Monster.

It's very much aligned with the NOC but the problem is that few jobs match their NOC categories perfectly. I've seen a lot of what I would consider to be mis-categorised jobs on the emails they send me also.
