So I spotted something today when viewing the job bank job seeker.

When navigating to updating your profile express entry details there's a bit for adding your Canadian SIN number.

Canadian Social Insurance Number
Are you now a permanent resident or a Canadian citizen?

Use your Social Insurance Number (SIN) to update your user account.

As a Canadian job seeker, your profile will be matched to job postings as soon as they are posted.

International job seeker profiles are matched to job postings that have been posted for over 30 days.

Is this for lmia reasons to allow for the 4 week advertising rule? An international job seeker can only apply for jobs after they have been up for 4 weeks? An international work permit holder in Canada will be able to view jobs sooner than a outland applicant. System flaw?

Job bank is just a formality for express entry. I don't think anyone here had ever actually gotten a job through it.

When the job is over a month, it means that no one in Canada can fill the job. Otherwise, the company should hire people that are in Canada first.

And yes, worker in Canada can see the job without date limit.

The SIN they give for temporary work permits (closed or open) starts with series 9 and when you try to put your SIN....It throws an error stating "Invalid SIN as it is a temporary work permit SIN". The SIN for PR/Citizens starts with a different number.
