How effective is the Job Bank for EE. Does anyone know how often does someone land a job via the job bank?

Not effective at all. Pretty safe to assume you won't get a job through Job Bank.

Useless IMO

I believe the new job bank is better compared to the old one.
I have registered on the job bank and have created numerous email alerts. I keep getting alerts every day. The thing is that these job openings are being pulled from different sites like Workopolis, Monster etc. So when you want to apply, the link would either take you to 1) Employer's website, 2) Job portal's website or 3) it will have the email Id of the hiring manager.

You can register on this website and provide your SIN and one security question's answer (this question is from your PR express entry application I believe but I dont remember). Once your profile is verified you will appear as Canadian Permanent Resident to the employers who might be looking for candidates. If you dont verify, then you will appear as "Express Entry Applicant" or something.
