Job advert for LMIA

Hello,
I just wanted to ask if Job adverts on Kijiji, Facebook Market will be accepted by CIC for LMIA?
Must the job advert be on Job Bank? Employer has the job advertised on Kijiji for more than 6 weeks now, to no avail.
No potential applicant from inside Canada till date.
Secondly, will small business employers with 1-3 employees LMIA application be consider for approval?
Or is the LMIA for big multi national companies alone?

Just Kijiji and Facebook Market alone will not be accepted. Yes, the advertisement must be on Job Bank. This is mandatory. The advertisments must also be in two other places apart from Job Bank which are consistent with the occupation audience. Generally speaking, Kijiji is not accepted however it can depend on the profession / occupation. But again, Job Bank is mandatory. Automatic refusal withouth Job Bank.

Any company can obtain an approved LMAI provided they meet all of the requirements, includign the advertising requirements.

Job Bank is mandatory. The other two job sites must be related to the job so don’t think FB or Kijiji will be accepted.

Before applying for a Labour Market Impact Assessment, you must conduct at least 3 different recruitment activities:

• effective August 28, 2017, you must advertise on the Government of Canada’s Job Bank. If you choose to use an alternative method, you must submit a written rational and explanation
• you must also conduct at least 2 additional methods of recruitment that are consistent with the occupation (targets an audience that has the appropriate education, professional experience and or skill level required for the occupation).
