job ad for lmo - where to post????

Hi there

my employer wants to post job ad for the lmo. does it have to be on Job Bank or it can be on such recognized sites as craigslist, kijjiji...etc. Job Bank has a new system for verifing employers and it takes like 2 weeks to even post there. just wondering if craigslist would be enough to apply for lmo...

maybe somebody had the same problem...please help!

It MUST be posted on Job Bank for 14 days. Some also require advertising somewhere else in addition to Job Bank. Make sure your employer follows the advertising requirements or the LMO will surely be denied.

I advertised on Job Bank and on a number of other websites to shown that a genuine effort was made to find a suitable candidate.

Posting ad on Job bank is mandatory and there is no other way out. But if you hold a PGWP then placing a job ad is not necessary. However in my case I hold a PGWP but still showed recruitment efforts. My employer and I wanted to be on safe side.
