Java j2ee job market in Canada

Hi,

I am currently thinking of applying of candian PR. But want to understand how tough or easy its getting job in Canada from India. Will posting my CV on well know jobsite do the trick or more things needs to be done. I am 32 years old with 10 year of design & dev experience in java j2ee. Is there some specific technologies within j2ee thats quite popular in Canada IT more focused CV will give the edge over others. Which specific region in Canda has most demand. I want make a decision whether or not to apply for PR if chances are more for landing a job "is trying from Canada" rather than India. Is there anyone who has got a java j2ee job in Canada while sitting India with PR application was in process. Please advice.

Hey,
i am on the same boat, trying to apply from Brazil.

i have 7 years as java dev which 3 as technical team lead, looking at jobbank and indeed, i have found a lot of jobs that i met their pre reqs, however i dont know if they will provide a LMIA without at least a face to face interview.

I still didn't try to send CVs, i am waiting my IELTS test first.
