Japan PCC

We have received the Japan PCC for my spouse today and tomorrow is the last date to upload the same in my CIC account. However, the envelope says it must be opened by CIC only. Shall we open the envelope, scan and upload the PCC? Or shall we ask CIC what should be done? (Considering that the last date for submission is tomorrow i.e. 23.08.2017).
Please guide. Anyone?

you can open, scan and upload. did the same thing. but in my case i had enough time so i was able to ask CIC who confirmed that it is OK to open it.

I scanned and uploaded front/back (where the seal is) of the envelope and added a LOE asking for permission to open/scan the police certificate or an address where I should mail it to. Just to be safe.

Submitted my application one week ago, just waiting. My immigration consultant suggested to proceed this way. Although I suspect it should be fine to open and scan the document, I prefer not to take any risk.

So additional document request I suspect. In this case I would open and upload it.

It should be fine.

My situation is different, I obtained the Japan police certificate before applying for PR online (I live in Japan, just went to visit them and they delivered it to me).

My husband lived in Japan for six years. Now, he is back to India. So it took two months to obtain Japan PCC. Then we shall upload it by today.

Well I am not an expert but if IRCC request deadline is tomorrow, then you have no choice.

Hi what is the process? please help. How do I and from where to raise request for PCC japan.
I didn't know we need to provide pcc and med for non accompanying partners. I am couple of days away from submission. Should i reject and ask for pcc or submit saying i wasn't clear of the process and have paid and raised request for pcc and medical now? I have to get pcc from usa, japan , and india. India, USA i can raise request online and make the payment. Same for medical, can schedule an appointment and make the payment. but the appointments will happen after a week or two.
