Hello, I have got a Biometric request for Visitor Visa of my wife.
But VFS isnt having any appointment available for next 15-20 days in Delhi, Chandigarh, Jalandhar. How to expedite this or am I doing something wrong.

yes it is possible.
I just applied for my wife.
sharing some information with you all:

got married in dec 2018; PR file applied on 5th feb still waiting for acknowledgment of receipt.
also applied for her tourist visa on 22nd feb.
biometrics request 23rd feb
biometrics submitted 25th feb
acknowledgement and pp request 6 march
passport submitted 7th march new delhi
pp received 12 march

I have a quick question for you. Is the "Biometric Letter" that you talked about in your previous post- a separate letter that you get in your CIC login or simply in the top right hand corner a portion that talks about biometrics like this?

• Date Received: February 26, 2019
• Biometrics:

This is what I am seeing for my folks application.. No special letter has been received. Will you PLEASE let me know

Hello Everybody
My friend and his wife applied Visitor visa on Jan 19,2019 via Online Application and Biometrics done on Jan 25,2019 and letter from Delhi Immigration section on Feb 12 , 2019 for processing their Application and got an other Mail asking for up loading Passport copy of his wife on Feb 22, 2019 and after that no update in the account till date. Please give some Suggestions as well Advice what to do next. Thanks

Yes I did. Now I’m waiting on that too. But I enquired about that yesterday and processing time said was 28 days. Before that, I tried calling them and an automated machine answer saying that application could take up to 61 days for online application because of the backlogs from December.

I submitted web form on wednesday and got a response on Friday saying they have forwarded my query to New Delhi VO since it is processing my father's application. They didn't mention anything about 28 days response time though. Will have to wait to find out what happens.
