I am opening this thread to see how many people are from January to March 2014, still shows Ecas status application received and medical received. We can discuss our communication with CIC since application received. I understand, I got married and I added my wife when my application is in process and that might be the reason for delays.

I wonder, and this is pure speculative, if whenever ask for extra paperwork what ever it is,,, the application is not review until the time they give you to submit is due, therefore is a more efficient way to process. For example, if you ask to submit fingerprint RCMP, nobody will review your file during this 60 days period. Looking forward to hear someone else thoughts in these.

they requested to submit marriage certificate, picture of our weeding and to other questionaries' for my wife and also for myself in September 2014. Since then, I have not heard anything from CIC.

I did follow up on January 2015, and they replied my file is in process and they will contact with me if they need any other documents and my file will be process as per as the regulatory timeline. I also got my GCMS notes in February 2014. Criminality passed, medical passed, eligibility in progress

status says review required :'( not sure what they meant :(
